Tucson’s Ocotillo Apartments & Hotel, a building that was being used as a sober living community, is now closed as widespread Medicaid fraud is being investigated by the state of Arizona. The FBI and the U.S. Attorney General’s Office are among the agencies that have joined Arizona prosecutors in the investigation. Arizona announced a crackdown on Medicaid fraud in May and has since suspended over 300 providers.
