Stay Together Tonight

A series of shootings targeting homeless people in Los Angeles has left three men dead and prompted a massive manhunt for the gunman

The killings happened early in the mornings of Sunday, Nov. 26, Monday, Nov. 27, and Wednesday, Nov. 29.   In each case, a man approached a homeless person sleeping alone outside, shot them with a handgun, then fled the scene.

“Do not sleep alone tonight,” Bass said. “Seek shelter. Seek services. Stay together.”  “This is a killer who is preying on the unhoused,” Bass said. “We are calling Angelinos to come together. The city and the region is mobilizing to find this individual. … We will find you, we will catch you and you will be held accountable.”  LAPD Chief Michel Moore said security-camera footage identified one man at all three scenes.

If you believe you can identify the person or vehicle used, or if you have other information on the killings, you are urged to call 213-486-6890.
