The city of Denver has ordered the Regis Motel on Colfax to shut its doors due to numerous crimes being committed at the property by both residents and staff. A police investigation was conducted and found crimes associated with drugs, prostitution, and others were blatant at the hotel with things coming to a head when a shooting near the hotel resulted in a death.
