Police say 31-year-old Michael Acevedo was involved in a fight that resulted in him stabbing a man multiple times in the face and upper torso.   The incident took place at the Lantern House homeless shelter in Ogden.  Police stated Acevedo had been involved in several altercations in the area recently and asked that he not be allowed out on bail, noting he had made statements about wanting to return to Florida “as soon as he can.”
