Police say 64-year-old Joyce Ann Small admitted to the shooting of a homeless woman outside of North Dade Regional Library in Miami Gardens. When officers arrived they discovered a woman with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced her dead at the scene. The victim was later identified by Small as “Sarai”. Small claims she allowed Sarai to stay at her home at times to shower and rest, but became suspicious that Sarai might be sleeping with her boyfriend. Although her suspicions were never confirmed, it may have led Smalls to this homicide. Small was arrested and transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center following the incident.
