Charles Michael Wilson was arrested by Kalispell Police after reports of a man pointing a gun at people on the Parkline Trail. Wilson told police he unholstered the weapon, pointing at the ground, to protect his family from being attacked by aggressive homeless people. Surveillance footage showed a different version of events. The video clearly shows Wilsongoing toward an encampment and pointing his gun at people.
