Police have arrested a 38-year-old homeless man, Kendall Burton, after witnesses say he doused California convenience store worker with lighter fluid and set him on fire. Police say Burton was confronted by store workers for shoplifting and things escalated to an altercation in which the suspect set a clerk on fire. Burton was later arrested on a slew of charges and is now being held without bail.
