Suspect arrested in machete attack at Statesville homeless encampment.

David Morgan was arrested and is suspected of using a machete to attack two people from Morganton at a homeless encampment.   When Police found Morgan he was suffering from a cut on his leg and hand from the same machete he used on the two victims.   Morgan was taken to a hospital for treatment of his wounds and is expected to be charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
