Clark County officials have opened an investigation after photos and videos show workers from contractor’s BrightView holding what looks to be a machete, and someone else opposite the worker also holding a supposed weapon.  The photos and video were taken during a sweep of Aurora Ross and her boyfriend’s encampment located in a flood control channel off Boulder Highway.  Ross claimed a 24 hour notice was not provided before the sweep, and the contractor began bulldozing their property immediately, wiping away all her belongings except her phone and laptop.  The contractor BrightView is also conducting their own investigation and has said the machete seen in the picture is a common gardening tool.
