New Housing

A new homeless shelter is underway in Grover Beach, thanks to the efforts of the 5Cities Homeless Coalition.  The project consists of 30 cabins that will be located at 955 South Fourth St., on a parcel of land owned by San Luis Obispo County. The cabins will provide temporary accommodation for single adults or couples who are experiencing homelessness and are working towards finding permanent housing.

The cabins will have basic amenities such as electricity, heating, and ventilation, and will be connected to a central facility that will have bathrooms, showers, laundry, and kitchen facilities. The 5Cities Homeless Coalition will also provide case management and support services to the residents of the cabins.
