A Denver encampment near the Governor’s mansion on 8th and Logan is set to be swept on Tuesday due to safety and deteriorating conditions.  The good news though is that 70 people from that camp will receive housing.   Most residents of the former encampment are moving to an undisclosed hotel, while others will be placed in other housing alternatives.  This all fits in with Denver’s plan to place 1,000 homeless people in housing before year’s end.
