The City of Baldwin Park received a $34.6 million grant from the state’s Project Homekey to go toward the project. The L.A. County Board of Supervisors committed $16 million of funding. Additional support is also expected from the City of Baldwin Park and the L.A. Care Health Plan and Health Net.
Los Angeles County and the Weingart Center Association will work together on the project to renovate the 107 rooms into studio apartments, that will have wraparound services. on-site.
