A 7-day notice was posted on Tuesday at a large homeless encampment near Eighth & Logan, and Seventh & Grant. The residents will have to vacate by September 26th. Between now and then residents of the encampment will be offered wrap-around services, and that includes free housing in a hotel room where they will continue to receive services. This is part of Denver Mayor Mike Johnston’s plan to house 1,000 homeless people by year’s end. You can view the progress of that plan here.
