Two formerly homeless people who were living in their RV’s in East Gardena now have their own home thanks to a program.

William Escribano and Candice Chandler lived for years in a large well-known RV encampment called “The Skid Row of RVs” in East Gardena. Their stay came to an end when it was cleared about three ago. Escribano and Chandler didn’t know it at the time, but this was a blessing in disguise. They received housing along with over 20 others as part of L.A. County’s Pathway Home program.
