Chip Rogers, President of the American Hotel and Lodging Association, says if the ‘Responsible Hotel Ordinance‘ passes Los Angeles Hotels will be squatter dens for the homeless.  Rogers, who represents more than 32,000 lodging property members across the country, says safety is his main concern.   He is up against Unite Here, a hotel, food service, and casino labor union that proposed the plan.  Unite Here says the ordinance could be a big help to the city’s problem.  We’ll have to wait and see how this plays out in March 2024
