Mayor Bass announced today that more than 7,000 units of affordable housing are in the City of Los Angeles’ development pipeline under Executive Directive 1, which expedites the processing of shelters and 100% affordable housing projects in Los Angeles. Bass also announced today that the Los Angeles Department of City Planning released a draft ordinance, requested by the Los Angeles City Council, that will make Executive Directive 1 a permanent City program.
