After a shooting and tense discussions that took place at a public meeting, Nashua city officials decided it would be best to temporarily move people staying in the homeless encampment on Crown Street to a local motel. The cost is being covered by the state-administered Opioid Abatement Fund according to Sarah Aissis, health promotion and communication specialist at the city’s Division of Public Health & Community Services.
