The Imperial Inn on West MacArthur Boulevard and Telegraph Avenue will be converted into supportive housing for the homeless thanks to funding from the state’s Homekey program. Oakland will need to contribute another $8.6 million in local money to complete the project. Memar Properties and Bay Area Community Services will handle the development and management of the project This is the third Oakland Homekey award for a Bay Area Community Services project.
