Eden Village of Tulsa held a groundbreaking event today to begin working on building a gated tiny home community for the homeless. Brad Johnson, the founder of Eden Village of Tulsa, says 63 tiny homes will be built this year on the location. It sits on 17 acres, and will eventually have a 4,000 sq. ft. community center, greenhouses, and a small on-site farm for residents to care for. The homes are brand new with running water, electricity, and furniture. Tenants will be charged an affordable rent of just $350.
