An injunction prohibiting sweeps of homeless encampments in Sacramento due to extreme heat is officially expired. It began on August 3rd and originally expired on August 31 but the Sacramento Homeless Union fought to have the order reinstated to go mostly through September. U.S. District Court Judge Troy Nunley on Wednesday denied their request.
