Reverend Larry Rice Will Not be Denied

One thing you can’t say about Reverend Larry Rice is that he is not consistent.  Rev. Rice has been trying for years to reopen The New Life Evangelistic Center since its closure by the city of St. Louis in 2017.  He is now back in court asking the Board of Building Appeals to reverse its recent decision to deny the center a building permit.  He claims the decision to revoke his current permit that would have allowed Rice to reopen was based on illegal hearsay of neighbors.

This time around the Reverend says he will not reopen the overnight shelter, but instead a church and resource center during the day.
