R.I.P.
A heavy downpour caused rivers in the region to rise rapidly, endangering the lives of many people. One of them was a homeless man who lived under a bridge in Southeast Portland. He was caught by the fast-flowing water of Johnson Creek and carried away on Monday morning. The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said the creek was overflowing and very dangerous at the time of the incident.
