The head of the Silicon Valley NAACP plans to present the complaints of discrimination from former employees of the Home First shelter in Sunnyvale shelter. The workers, who all identify as Black, say they worked at the shelter for years and were all terminated for minor offenses. “I believed there’s a pattern of racism, a pattern of practice, of employees disadvantaged .. And being laid off or let go for unknown reasons,” said Reverend Jethroe Moore, Silicon Valley NAACP president. “And with clear backgrounds with no disciplinary history.”
