The State Office of Homeless Services in Utah has canceled its contract with the non-profit group Nomad Alliance. The non-profit had recently been in the news for its Sexy Nomad Calendar. Some people felt the homeless featured in the catalog were being exploited. The formal complaint against them was from a family who claimed they didn’t receive money for a new trailer. The family has since received the money, but the complaint started an investigation into Nomad Alliance that resulted in their contract being terminated for not following the provider’s code of conduct.
