The San Antonio City Council unanimously approved a two-year $8.8 million lease of the 200-room Holiday Inn located downtown. San Antonio Metropolitan Ministries was picked to operate the new shelter and is now tasked with moving everyone from the current shelter at the Days Inn Motel, which they also operate.
