The New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness released its 2023 Point-In-Time Count, and the numbers are shocking. Statistics show that 2,394 people are currently experiencing homelessness in Albuquerque, resulting in an 83% increase from last year. Because over 700 people refused to participate, the numbers could actually be a lot worse.
