The beating of homeless veteran Dalvin Gadson by the Colorado Springs Police Department has caught the attention of the U.S. Department of Justice. The case is being referred for criminal investigation. On October 9th, 2022 a simple police stop of Gadson turned into a vicious beating being given by the Colorado Springs Police. Gadson has since filed a federal lawsuit against the Police Department.
