On Monday a blaze that began in a homeless encampment in the San Francisco’s Misson District set seven cars and several tents on fire. These sidewalk fires in encampments are becoming very common in the area. Just a few days ago on this very block, a fire broke out destroying a vehicle. The proximity of the two fires has residents in the neighborhood very concerned for their safety.
